History:

Technical and Vocational Training Organization of Iran(TVTO) affiliated to the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social welfare founded in 1980 by integrating three training bodies, MOLSA’s General Directorate for Vocational Trainings, Apprenticeship Fund and Apprenticeship Society - as Technical and Human Force Training Organization.

Later in 1981 it was renamed as Technical and Vocational Training Organization.
